2010 Mitsubishi Triton
Big news for 2010 Triton range is the availability of new, high-powered (HP) turbo diesel engine four-wheel drive variants, which gives the highest results and performance in this segment. This 2.5-liter engine produces 131 kW power at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm – up 11 percent and 17 percent respectively over the previous 3.2-liter 4M41 engine – and gives the combined figures of 8.3 fuel economy liters per 100 km, a 9 percent increase, when mated with a manual transmission. Varian automatically generates the same amount of power, 350Nm of torque, and reached the combined fuel economy figure 9.3 liters per 100 km.

The figures have been achieved enhanced by increasing engine performance through changes in the form of the combustion chamber, injector optimized specification, adding a variable geometry turbo charger and turbo charging pressure.
Two-wheel drive range remained popular 2010 Triton 2.4-liter gasoline engine and 2.5-liter diesel engine line-ups of today.
