GO I-90Until now we always had two options, either you ordered good money for a permanently installed navigation system directly added to the new vehicle, or to buy a present relatively low-priced mobile navigation device. The advantages of a permanently installed navigation system are clear, full integration into the vehicle and a coordinated look. The mobile devices are rather integrationsunwillig because of the cable tangle and the installation of the windshield.

TomTom is now breaking new ground and meet with their fixed and mobile device, yet full of the spirit of the time, because the change of car, the unit can move with, the prerequisite is in itself, but a double-DIN slot in a new vehicle. The GO I-90 will be fully integrated into the existing audio system and uses the speakers to navigation and to make phone calls. The unit costs about 599 euros (including maps of Western Europe), will be available from December 2009 and is compared to fixed solution of car manufacturers quite favorable. The only disadvantage is the missing CD drive, to compensate this, but was an iPod integration and USB interface.
