The Audi A5 coupe won the Design Council, the “Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2010. On 12 February 2010 is the awards ceremony during the opening of the “Ambiente – International Frankfurt Fair took place. The A5 is now being honored by the A4 Avant and the A3 and the A2 for the fourth time an Audi model with the highest German Design Prize.
The competition may only attend a company if the product has previously been honored with a national or international prize. In addition, the nomination by the economic ministries and senators of the countries or through the Federal Ministry of Economics is another prerequisite for participation.
