Toyota demonstrated at the Geneva Motor Show the new Auris hybrid, the average consumption of 3.8 liters per 100 kilometers and 89 grams of CO2 can convince emissions to EU standard. The Auris HSD (Hybrid Synergy Drive) can travel only short distances as a full hybrid with the electric motor. The market launch is expected in autumn 2010.

Even the performance can be seen, because it requires about ten seconds for the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h. Three selectable driving modes allow either low consumption in the ECO mode, the POWER mode for powerful driving performance, or a purely electric EV-mode noise and emissions-free driving.
The hybrid version of the Toyota Auris is the first step toward a nationwide introduction of the full hybrid technology in the Toyota model range.
For spring 2010, the petrol and diesel versions of the Toyota Auris will be reviewed. Among other things, improves the comfort and redesigned the hood. Inside the compact car now shows more value. The new model is from 20 March 2010 at the German Toyota dealers ready.
