The segment on which to place the E-Class now requires the presence in the range of a long wheelbase version, better suited to use with a driver. The E-Class can therefore be no exception and joins the bulk of the segment the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Volvo S80, Cadillac SLS … With the addition of 14 centimeters (as far as the BMW 5 Series), it has become the bar 5 feet (5008 mm) and wheelbase than 3 meters (3014). An additional length that benefits the entire rear seat and fits rather well with the style of the vehicle without pretending to be a dachshund.
The main occupants (include here the passengers and not drivers) benefit in addition to extra room screens integrated into the front seat back, or an adjustable front passenger seat from the back.
The engine range will consist of 4-cylinder 204 hp for the E260L (E250 driver of CGI), and V6 245ch for E300L with other engines expected later.
