2011 Hyundai Avante

Hyundai unveiled at the show in Busan next generation C-segment sedan, the Avante. It also adopts the style inaugurated by the Sonata, by becoming a “fluidic sculpting.

The Avante, Elantra known outside South Korea, is a 4-door sedan segment C, and therefore takes place between the all-new Verna (Accent) and the Sonata. Sas lines are even more dynamic, and also less baroque than on the latter, while also adopting a 4 door coupe look very sleek. A look that goes so far as to adopt a posture limits of the cab-forward once advocated by Chrysler.

It will be appreciated or not, the sides very modeled, but without extraneous line, the internal design of headlights reminiscent of the Sonata Hybrid or drawing “in wave” tail lights …

Few details yet about the vehicle to be marketed during the second half of the year in Korea, and in early 2011 in other markets. For the local market, adopt the new 1.6 engine with direct injection of the Gamma family, developing 140 hp, and associated with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of equipment, Hyundai evokes heated rear seats or a TFT color display integrated instrumentation.
