Methodically, Volkswagen is making its technology and engines in its various brands. The Polo BlueMotion is thus emulated in its close cousins Roomster Skoda Fabia Greenline with new versions.

Skoda Greenline is that BlueMotion is Volkswagen. Nothing surprising to find under the hood of the Fabia Greenline a mechanical assembly identical to that of the Polo Blumotion. So the little 1.2 TDI 55 kW / 75 hp, with recovery of braking energy and Stop & Start system which is now the happy days of the version “green” of the Fabia Combi. For good measure, the Roomster also inherits the mechanical evolution.

The result was immediate, 3.4 l/100 km and 89g/km for the break, and 4.2 litres/100km and 109g/km for the Roomster, inevitably handicapped by its weight and aerodynamics. Skoda does not mention a new version of the Fabia Greenline 5 doors.
