Land Rover’s new LRX will premier next month of June, during the 40 years of Range Rover, only to debut officially at the

Paris Motor Show next month. We know already that the car will also come hybrid engines and a line rather than sports, but another small revolution awaits guests of the mark: the Land Rover LRX will be the first no-wheel drive, since the cheaper versions will rely on front-wheel drive .
It is a choice now common in the mid-size SUV segment, where off-road capability are put in second place to comfort, consumption and price list. If this version of the LRX will come only later on the market, just to challenge competitors in their territory, saying emissions below 130 g / km. The model name is not yet final and the symbol LRX could not be maintained, while the British Autocar have an estimated list price of 35,000 pounds, which would drop to 30,000 for 2-wheel drive versions in the fitting base.Land Rover believes lot in this project, intended to increase sales dramatically with a target of 70,000 units annually. Mass production will start in 2011 in the Halewood factory and the car will be marketed in over 100 countries.
