Volvo has signed an agreement with the utility of his city, Gothenburg, to begin road testing of the first examples of the new C30 Electric. This experimental phase will involve a total of ten copies of the compact Swedish.

The agreement with Göteborg Energi will materialize from autumn: Volvo will provide the cars and power company will make its contribution to preparing the necessary infrastructure charging. This is obviously only a first step, the fleet during 2011, will expand to reach 50 units.
