The two famous preparatory Ford Shelby and Roush have joined forces to create a very special model on a Mustang, the dark and menacing SR-71 you can see in these first official pictures. This brand new incarnation of the supercar stars and stripes, equipped with the new 5.0 aluminum V8 with supercharger, will be implemented in a single and will be auctioned for charity at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh aviation meeting to be held in the homonymous center Wisconsin between 26 July and 1 August.
The first name of the car-SR-71-is a clear homage to the Blackbird, the famous spy plane developed by Lockheed in the ’60s to provide a strategic reconnaissance plane to the USAF to replace the equally renowned U2.
