In issue 36 of the French magazine “Motor Sport” is the service on a comparison between the Audi RS5 and the Nissan GT-R. From this challenge emerged two negative factors for the sporty coupe Ingolstadt. The first is the battle lost to the Japanese rival. In fact, the GT-R was 5 seconds faster on the club circuit at Magny-Cours which measures 2.5 km.
In addition, the test bench showed that the 4.2-liter V8 engine of the RS5 will not deliver the 450 hp rated power, but 422 hp. Among the data reported by the Ingolstadt brand and the real ones there is a difference of nearly 30 hp. In the same test, however, the Nissan GT-R was equally successful, because the bank has indicated that the 3.8 V6 biturbo engine of the Japanese supercar develops 505 hp real, twenty more than the stated 485 hp. All that remains is to highlight the lean figure made by Audi in this test of “Motor Sport“.
