2011 Yamaha R6 Sport

New year, new Yamaha R6 sports under construction. For 2011, the home of three tuning forks has seen fit to revive his average four-cylinder and tickle the palates of more buyers than sports. The R6 sport in progress is the latest range of R6 in 2011. Compared to the basic model in the absence of official data from the house, we can limit ourselves to expressing an opinion on particular welcomed more evident: the short end of Akrapovic exhaust that is “born” with the bike.

As for the models produced from 2006 to 2010, the new R6 was equipped with a lightweight, high-performance exhaust approved for road use. Now its 189 kg reported to decline significantly in improving handling and performance. Differences, however, noticeable only in the use on the track. We do not advise prospective buyers to test the R6 “bad” in the street, any difference or is suspected with the basic model could easily be mortified by the danger in which you hunt!

3) Line Racing Hexagonal Full Exhaust (approval only on the terminals as the catalyst is removed) – € 1,166.30.

On the occasion of the International Bicycle and Motorcycle, Yamaha announced its marketing agreement with existing partner Akrapovic Yamaha WSBK Team Sterilgarda. Yamaha will make available at all sales of the group and the Scooter Store the discharge terminals dedicated to the most popular models in the range 2011. Among those provided with the titanium exhaust with carbon caps: YZF-R1, FZ1/Fazer, FZ8, 8 Fazer, YZF-R6, TMAX (full discharge) and Super Ténéré. Those dedicated to MT-O1, O3, and MT-XT660Z Ténéré are entirely of titanium.
