Bmw M3 sedan may replace the GT version, a variant of the new 3 Series F30 expected in 2012. This choice was motivated by the limited success of the current E90 M3 sedan, itself the result of a long gestation. BMW did not propose it in the first E30 M3 sedan, only to throw the Series E36. The choice was not repeated with the E46, and E90 for the Model List is back with a lag compared to the E92 coupe.
BMW is launching the all-new GT variant 3 for the new F30 3-series, inspired by the GT Series 5: Line 2 volumes with tailgate, tail elusive and probably two individual rear seats with adjustable space for passengers and baggage. The M3 GT, however, abandon the current naturally aspirated V8, to return to six-cylinder in-line turbocharged version. The new 3 series is expected in 2012
