
Audi has produced a new engine for its Q7. The German decided to mount the new engine dedicated to a subversion of his great entry level SUV. The engine in question is a 3.0-liter TDI with an output of at least 204 horses. The engine is able to release a torque of 450 Nm The power unit does not only apply to the Audi Q7, but it is also planned for two other models: the A7 Sportback and Volkswagen Touareg. The engine will have a tiptronic eight reports, combined. Ingolstadt’s engineers had already installed the new engines on their Q7, very efficient. The first was a V6, which delivers an output of 272 hp. The second was a V8, which produces a power of 340 horses, with a displacement of 4.2 liters.
Now the German manufacturer Audi decides to pursue the project of an SUV like the Q7, dedicated, however, a version of entry, with a smaller engine and less powerful, still complies with Euro 5 standards. The Audi Q7 entry level will, however, always-wheel drive. Version designed to allow for less fuel consumption, thanks to the Start & Stop system as standard and other reductions in power to the motor.
The Q7 3.0 TDI with 204 hp consumes 7.2 liters of fuel per 100 km in the air and emits 189 g / km of CO2. Although the younger sister of the other Q7, under the terms of engine, however its performance is respectable: it reaches the 205 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 9.1 seconds
