Triumph has prepared a new version of his Daytona 675, it is the 675R which has a very renewed cycle that does not appear to accompany increases or new mechanical torque and maximum power of the engine, it still amounted to 128 hp ( the same as the standard versions of the sport bike built from 2009 onwards). The new chassis features a small frame painted red (which identifies the new version of its R), the front forks and Ohlins rear mono of both (particularly the front fork 43 mm seems to be already seen in the 999 ) and new Brembo radial calipers to improve the brake system. Also of note in particular the choice of carbon and a black and white paint that give an aggressive look to the new home of English sport bike.

This new version of the Triumph Daytona 675 It seems to ad hoc prepared to give better margins set up with Luca Scassa bike, new rider BE1 directed by Giuliano Rovelli and officially supported by the British manufacturer, which has great ambitions of winning the next World Cup Supersport.

As for the technical / commercial, you just have to see how the parent has decided to act on those aspects where the Daytona was already excellent, to also consider the price of this new version (so far not found) which should be compared to that of the various accessories available in the aftermarket chassis.

All in all however it is a motorcycle with a strong personality and excellent components, and the department in which Triumph Italian houses are really making a difference to the increasingly severe competition from Japan.
