The electric city car Peugeot ion has received an important award in Germany: “Grünes Lenkrad 2010″ (“green steering wheel“). The electric car of the Lion has been chosen among 20 other projects by readers of Auto Bild and Bild am Sonntag: The five finalists were then selected as judged by an international jury of automotive and environmental experts under the aegis of German Minister of the Environment. The small French won a majority of the votes, thus winning the prestigious green Volante 2010.
