From 2012, Hyundai will launch the marketing of BlueOne, electric utility based i10 – which anticipates the restyling – already assigned to some Korean organizations to carry out the first tests in everyday traffic conditions. 3:58 meters long, wide and high 1:59 1.54, the BlueOne is equipped with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery that powers an engine 61 kW (83 hp) and 210 Nm are more than acceptable performance (0-100 km / h 8.1 seconds, 130 km / h top speed), while the range is indicated at 140 km.

The battery can be recharged in 6 hours from a 220 volt outlet, while a system of 380 volts will “supply” to 80% in just 25 minutes. The Korean compact car comes standard with the device “Virtual Engine Sound System”, developed to promote a sound and warn pedestrians. Hyundai has invested 27 million euro in the preliminary phase of the project BlueOne, amount needed to build the first twenty units sample. Followed in 2012 by 2,500 vehicles for private users.
