The Motive Canadian manufacturer to produce by June 2011, the first forklift in the Kestrel, electric utility built using composite materials derived from hemp. This unique solution not only allows you to limit the weight of the small four-seater in just 850 pounds – despite the impact of batteries (Li-Ion) – but is more effective in reducing the stress after an impact. The Kestrel can reach a top speed of 135 km / h, while the maximum range is 160 kilometers. the first units will be delivered to customers in late 2012.
