The two famous preparatory Ford Shelby and Roush have joined forces to create a model on a very special Mustang, black and threatening the SR-71 you see in these first official pictures. This brand new incarnation of the supercar stars and stripes, equipped with the new 5.0 aluminum V8 with supercharger, will be implemented in a single unit and will be auctioned for charity at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh aviation meeting to be held in the homonymous center Wisconsin between July 26 and August 1.
The first name of the car-SR-71-is a clear homage to the Blackbird, the famous spy plane developed by Lockheed in the 60′s to provide a strategic reconnaissance aircraft to the USAF to replace the equally renowned U2.
