Jeep has started road tests of the new Grand Cherokee SRT-8 version, equipped with the HEMI eight-cylinder engine from 6.4 liters and 500 horses. With this new unit, evolution of 6.1, the American SUV can achieve one hundred per hour from a standing start in less than 5 seconds, thus improving detection (5 seconds) of the previous generation. The American experts intervene then drawing an aesthetic appearance package with air inlets (especially the front), strips the most profiled sills and rear extractor, which will add the 21-inch alloy wheels and chrome tailpipes the specific design. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 will be presented at the end of 2010.
