Skoda Fabia could carry out the Cabriolet. The plans of the Czech manufacturer Volkswagen Group’s project has long been under study, but market research has alarmed the leadership: outside the European Union, such a model could in fact do not have sufficient demand to justify the necessary investment. The only alternative would be to maximize the synergies with the new Audi A1 Cabriolet, already confirmed for 2012, replicating as much as possible technical solutions.
