
Opel presented the Insignia 2.0 CTDI 4 × 4, the first version that combines a diesel engine and four-wheel drive and the unprecedented 2.8 V6 Turbo 260 hp 4 × 4. The Adaptive 4 × 4 wheel drive with electronic control, previously available only with the 2-liter turbo engine 220 hp or 325 hp in the OPC version is then available with the familiar 2-liter diesel with 160 hp and the brand new 2.8 V6 260 hp, even with automatic transmission. Adaptive 4 × 4 to manage traction on the two axles according to driving conditions and road surface and is combined with an electronically controlled limited slip differential ELSD which optimizes traction on the rear axle.
At the launch of new variants with both sedan bodywork Sports Tourer will be introduced in August the new productions with Indian Summer in terni nappa leather black with cream-colored cashmere, to include door panels, steering wheel, gear exchange and internal profiles.
