
Buick at the show in Detroit, the Regal GS. This is the umpteenth incarnation of Yankee sauce Opel Insignia, in this case in what we know as Insignia OPC. However, Buick has replaced the 2.8 V6 Turbo 325 hp version of the European Union with the 2-liter Ecotec Turbo, known for its implementation and Astra OPC Opel GT, in this case capable of 255 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The transmission is a 4-wheel drive with rear differential to control power, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission. The only information held about its performance is related to the acceleration: the Regal GS to 100 km / h acceleration in under 6 seconds.
The Regal GS is presented as a prototype, but it is logical to think that very shortly will become a regular model and marketed with a strong sporty personality: the structure shows the completely revised, the 20 “wheels with tires 245/35ZR 20″ , the interior with Recaro seats, Brembo brakes and the system with 4-piston calipers and 355 mm discs. The color chosen is the brand new Olympic White with satin-finished parts.
