Hyundai is working on a low cost car, currently known as H800, which could debut in 2011 in India, where there is the main competitor, the Tata Nano. In fact, the Indian market could be just the starting point, and then propose the car in the main emerging markets in the world at a price of 3500 Euro. The car should fit a 0.8 liter gasoline engine and its appearance, suggested in this digital reconstruction could be based on the recent Hyundai and Kia models. No information was released about the possible introduction of electric or hybrid variants: while Hyundai is preparing to launch its first hybrid series, the Sonata Hybrid at the show in New York.
