The production version of the Cadillac XTS will go into production in early 2012, while the concept car the car will be presented at the Detroit Motor Show that opens its doors tomorrow. The XTS will be built on the Epsilon II platform – the same as the Opel Insignia – and only with four-wheel drive. In addition, the car will be assembled in Oshawa, Ontario, where they will be in the same plant also produced the Chevrolet Camaro and Impala and Buick Regal.
