
Abarth at the Geneva show is renewed. Changing the features, presenting the point Ages, and introduces the 500C, the first open version of its recent history. The two cars, however, have different needs that are reflected in the use of many engines. The hatchback confirmed rumors the past few weeks and take the 1.4 Multi (meets the Euro 5), version 165 horses and 250Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. So engine, the Punto Abarth Evo accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.9 seconds and runs up to 213 km / h, while consuming – thanks also to the Start / Stop system as standard – 6.0 liters per 100 kilometers combined cycle, CO2 emissions are limited to 142 grams per kilometer.
The SS version, however, delivers 180 horsepower and offers specific trim, perforated disc brakes, high performance brake pads, lowered springs and 18-inch alloy wheels with design “SS” in white or titanium. The Punto Abarth Evo also brings the debut of the rotary knob, the control system that manages the parameters of the engine, brakes, steering, giving the sport two different souls: super sport (Sport) and urban (Normal). The rotary knob is placed in front of the gear selector and consists of a simple lever.
The Abarth 500C instead uses the 1.4 T-Jet turbocharged configuration, with 140 horses and 206Nm of torque. The scorpioncina can be paired with two different programs: the ‘Abarth Competition “el’MTA five-speed electro-actuated by paddles on the steering wheel. Also for her world-class performance with 8.1 seconds to reach the hundred miles an hour and a maximum speed of 205 km / h. Consumption in the combined detection is 6.5 liters per hundred kilometers, while CO2 emissions amounted to 155 g / km.
