The debut of the restyled Elise, at the Geneva Motor Show, has by no means exhausted the vitality of the Lotus brand. Indeed, the Evora – from good flagship – has received more attention by calling to the work that engineers and designers. Donato Coco and his team, for example, have created the Carbon Concept Evora, the only one with accentuated visual synergy between gray and white, between carbon and pearly hue of the bodywork. The engineers have created splitter, extractor and bottom fiber door, creating a duality between the white car body and the area of the roof (in fiber, too), made even more evident from the uprights blacks.

The Carbon Evora then receives a large deployment of leather (including Alcantara) for the interior, where there were a carbon insert a “line” the steering wheel. The 19-inch alloy wheels are covered with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa. The second prototype – and bread for the engineers at Lotus Engineering – the Evora is exposed 414E Hybrid, immortalized in new pics, equipped with the Lotus Range Extender supported by two electrical units arranged on the rear axle, one on each side, so as to move the wheels with independent motion. The power delivered by a single engine of 207 horses is a torque of 400 Nm
