2011 Nissan Micra 1.2 HR12DDR

The manufacturer Nissan has announced it will build on the 1.2 engine HR12DDR city car for Nissan Micra. This engine, according to estimates, is able to generate power equal to that of larger units, around 1.5 liters. The offering all levels of consumption and CO2 emissions extremely low. The new engine will make its European debut on the Micra in 2011.

According to Nissan, the low levels of consumption and emissions have been achieved thanks to direct injection gasoline DIG, a supercharged high-efficiency and the Stop & Start system. The new Micra will be available with the 1.2 engine HR12, three-cylinder 80cv, and with the new 1.2 engine turbocharged direct-injection 98cv. Both versions are matched to the manual five-speed transmission on the new Nissan CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).

In Japan the car was introduced this week as the Nissan March. For this market has been installed a three-cylinder 1.2 engine HR12DE, which is also based on the European version, combined with the Start & Stop system. Also in Japan, will be joined by another three-cylinder engine and CVT gearbox Xtronic new generation, with fuel consumption of 3.8 liters per 100 km.
