Volkswagen Phaeton

Volkswagen has released some official pictures and details of the new edition of its flagship, the Volkswagen Phaeton luxury sedan. The latest generation of this car will be available in Europe already this month, before heading to China from August. We do not know yet anything about the price range, which will be announced close to the actual marketing. Everything on this car, from the structure, look, the interior has been renovated over previous models.

First let’s talk about engines. There will be a choice between four different engines, three petrol and a turbodiesel. These include a V6 FSI direct injection 280cv a 335cv V8 and W12 450cv by. The diesel has a V6 TDI 240CV hand with consumption of 8.5 liters per 100 km and emissions of 224 grams of CO2 per kilometer.

The facility will be available in two variants, characterized in particular by the different rear seating: you can choose between the classic three-seater bench, or a configuration with two separate places. The new model will have four-wheel drive, air suspension and a four-zone automatic climate control.

The appearance of the new Phaeton features a redesigned front, Xenon headlights with LED and surrounded by chrome radiator grille. Later you notice the new lights with LED technology. Finally you can see inside leather seats and Alcantara, wooden features and amenities such as, among others, refrigerator and multimedia infotainment system with internet connection.
