Volvo C30 Polestar Performance Concept

Volvo has unveiled a prototype product of collaboration with the race department, Polestar. Starting from here, the C30 Volvo C30 Concept Polestar Performance, performance road car from the sport. This car is the product of ingenuity of the designers of the Volvo, free to exploit all the potential of their ideas and technologies available, without having to follow the strict regulations of the competition. From this prototype will extract an upgrade kit for the C30, which will then be sold separately.

As for the braking system, also is derived from racing: Ohlins shock and Brembo 380mm front and 330mm rear, calipers with four elements. The wheels are BBS 19 “and tires used are the Pirelli P Zero 235/35. Aesthetically, the aerodynamics is inspired by the C30 STCC, while inside were mounted anatomical seats sports.

Unlikely this car will never see the road, but for details on the performance of the new Volvo C30 Polestar will have to wait the official presentation at the next Goteborg Motor Show.
