Husaberg TE 250 and 300

Husaberg, Swedish motorcycle manufacturer owned by KTM, presented its first model with two-stroke engines: it is a real revolution for the Scandinavian manufacturer, from twenty-two years a faithful to four times. The new bikes, called, respectively, TE 250 and TE 300, show many similarities with the Austrian KTM two-stroke and are the ideal choice for those looking for a reliable motorcycle, light and fast.

TE 250 and TE 300 are fitted with a two-stroke engine very compact derivation of KTM with a capacity equal to 249 cc, respectively, and 293.2 cc engines are equipped with exhaust butterfly valve control and different engine mapping controlled by a switch placed on the handlebar. Power is supplied by a carburetor Keihin PWK 36 mm, the electric starter, the final transmission has six gears and the tank is very large, as many as 11 liters.

The peculiarities of cycling‘s most important about the suspension: the front is an inverted front forks with sealed cartridge WP, the rear is a monoammortizatore PDS with separate adjustment of compression for high and low speed damping. The other components are no different: a hydraulic clutch, Brembo brakes and wheels anodized DID.

These enduro, which indeed give the best of themselves when conditions are extreme off-road, which this segment of the market seems to appreciate more and more.

The two new two-stroke Husaberg will be available at all sales of the Swedish brand since mid-July at a price not yet known, but which promises to be very competitive, given that Husaberg has every intention to enter as a player in the market two days devoted to off-road.
