Mercedes present the upcoming Los Angeles Motor Show a spectacular idea “supercar, the Biome Concept. Born in central California advanced design of the Star, the Biome bears the signature of Hubert Lee, the pen that created the new CLS 800 Style and F, the prototype was presented last March at the Geneva Motor Show.
The stretch of Lee is evident in the soft volumes, fluid and dynamic shared by the futuristic Biome to the other two cars, with which it shares the cockpit layout, which has four seats. The Biome is the proposal for the usual Mercedes Los Angeles Design Challenge, a contest that theme this year is the ‘Car of The Thousand Pounds “and will see the participation of parallel Maybach and Smart, with the DRS and 454 respectively.
The Biome, responding to the dictates of the competition, without the balance to the incredible value of 394 kg, it offers comfort for four occupants and above is able to meet current regulations that govern the passive safety crash test. The body is made from vegetables grown in Biofibre using methods completely “organic”.
