Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series

The Mercedes C63 AMG joins more than the small circle of models that can boast of a Black Series version. These cars are updated and expanded edition of the already extreme cars bearing the AMG logo. The C63 is thus combined with models like the Mercedes SLK AMG Mercedes SL65 AMG and Mercedes CLK63 AMG. All caratteristicha have in common are two-door cars: the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series will have four instead. The spy photos show that we publish on the test mule in the early stages of testing.

What we can already see in the image gives us a lot of evidence on which to base ourselves understand what we expect from what we might call a true super sedan with the star. Many aerodynamic components have been changed including the diffuser and rear spoilers, which are designed specifically to enhance the adhesion of the back.

The bonnet of the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series should hide the usual 5.5 V8 twin turbo engine, but its power should be increased well beyond the 457 hp of the standard C63 AMG. The power increase will be matched with action to reduce the weight of the car, new wheels and even stiffer suspension. Which will have unimaginable effects on performance.

This car touches the limit of what can be obtained from a road car, a sedan plus. The new C63 AMG Black Series should be available by the end of next year. Rumors are also thinking that could be followed by another Black Series, this time based on the Mercedes AMG SLS. That’s not a sedan.
