Piaggio NRG Power

Piaggio NRG Power scooter is the high performance of the Italian, the color range for 2010 will be enriched by new bold colors, the height of the technical equipment on this fifty. The Piaggio NRG Power has a 49.4 cc single cylinder engine, available both with liquid cooling that air and fuel injection or carburetor. Different versions, to diversify the balancing costs and benefits.

There are three versions, starting with those characterized by higher performance, the Piaggio NRG Power PJ, with electronic injection and liquid cooling, its performance is at the top of the class. Then there is the Piaggio NRG Power DD, characterized by a liquid-cooled engine but with the carburetor. We come then to the cheapest Piaggio NRG Power DT with the same engine this time the other two air-cooled and equipped with carburetor.

The two versions to the top of the range are equipped with DD and PJ tailpipe inverted “Snakebite,” which further improves performance.

The braking system is the same for both PJ and for the DD, and consists of a 220 mm front discs with single piston caliper and 175 mm rear disc caliper with opposed pistons. The DT version instead adopt a more economical solution is proposed for the rear where a drum of 110 mm.

The chassis is common to all three models, we find the double cradle frame in high strength steel tubes, the front fork upside down 30 mm front and rear shock absorber with a stroke from 73.5 mm.

NRG has the range of alloy wheels by thirteen-inch six-spoke design with brand new rubber tires 120/70 front and 140/60 for the rear.
