The Vespa GTS Super is equipped with a single-cylinder four-stroke liquid cooled 124cc, equipped with electronic fuel injection, which delivers a maximum power of 14.9 hp at 9,750 rpm and maximum torque of 12Nm at 7,500 rpm.

The Vespa GTS Super is offered also in the more powerful 278 cc engine, with a power 22CV and maximum torque of 22.3 Nm

The chassis of the Vespa GTS Super is characterized by a shell of sheet steel with welded structural reinforcements, by identified by the single arm front suspension with hydraulic shock absorber with coaxial spring two roomed and two double-acting shock absorbers with adjustable preload.
