Yamaha YZ450F

The Yamaha has, for 2010, a renewed and increasingly competitive YZ450F. Agile and easy to handle this motocross bike has been redesigned for better performance on the track. The designers have worked to make it more manageable, improving ride comfort in order to better withstand the stress of staying on track, and of course fly to victory. Everything is designed to improve the handling, light weight and of course the power out of corners before the others.

Yamaha YZ450F is equipped with a backward-inclined single cylinder engine, four stroke, four-valve, DOHC, from 449.7 cc, with electronic fuel injection.

The operation of the motor is constantly controlled by several sensors, the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) detects the position of the gas, helped by devices that detect the suction pressure, the intake air temperature, atmospheric pressure, the speed of ‘ tree and the coolant temperature.

The chassis is composed of twin spar frame, telescopic front fork with 310 mm travel, and the swinging arm with articulated suspension travel from 312 mm.

The system is characterized by franante 250 mm front disc, while the rear we have a disc diameter of 245 mm.

The curb weight is equal to 111.9 kg.

The textured plastic, very durable even with the most severe shocks, new projects are more slender and the surface was reduced, all emphasizing the lightness and promoting compact and agile.
