Maybach presents eRikscha DRS Concept car in the competition held at the ultra-light show in Los Angeles, weighing less than 454 kg. The acronym refers in fact the term Den-Riki-Sha (electric rickshaw), derived from classical Jin-Riki-Sha, the rickshaw pulled by a person.
This is a 4-seater electric vehicle with available diamond, designed by Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studio in Tokyo. As for “connecting” Mercedes Biome, the project comes from a central cell made of carbon fiber and natural fibers, while the doors and glass surfaces are made of polycarbonate and organic fibers.
The vehicle is self-balancing on two large wheels, equipped with two 20 kW electric motors powered by lithium batteries positioned in the rear.
