Mazda MX-0 Concept

Mazda MX-0 presents the concept design competition as part of the show in Los Angeles for vehicles below 1000 pounds. The symbol MX-0 was not chosen at random, calling it the MX-5, a symbol of lightness and sportsmanship and used as the basis for the design of this prototype design. Each component was revised, reduced to a minimum and lightweight, yet never forgetting the pleasure of driving and performance, the main point of the project. The propulsion is provided by electric motors, which, however, do not know the technical data.

The interior space is designed with the 2 +2 scheme, with a sporty driving position and a front passenger and two rear folding seats, used only for children. According to Mazda, such a vehicle might make sense to trade in 2020, when they could be produced 500,000 units per annum with fully automated production processes and reduced environmental impact to a minimum.
