Ford has released pictures and specifications of the revised Mustang, branded with the label “Model Year 2011″ and wait for the next show in Los Angeles. This update, for what turns out to be limited in the aesthetic – the body of the vehicle is subject to very minor interventions -, proudly presents a new 3.7-liter V6 engine, rated at 305 horsepower and 380Nm of torque.
The six-cylinder will be produced in Cleveland, Ohio, and change the continent compared to the Teutonic (Cologne) sent four liter V6 in the attic. No more Yankee prejudices about the nature, because this unit shows how the stereotypes are the legacy of the past: one-piece aluminum, 4 valves per cylinder driven by a dual overhead cam with variable valve timing. Characteristics summarized in 95 horses and 70Nm more than the 4.0.
The presence of the recent six-speed transmissions – manual and automatic – also reduces highway fuel consumption than the previous five marce/4.0 match from 11 kilometers on a liter of gasoline to the current 12.6.
