Hyosung Gem 4.0 and Gem 2.0

In six days, on the stage of sessantasettesimo International Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan, the Korean Hyosung will have two important news for the scooter segment.Gem Gem 4.0 and 2.0 are two new electric scooters Korean company.
The topic of electric bikes is fortunately more and more popular, we’ve recently seen the speed record on Salt Lake in Utah, before the Mission One Mission of the engine and then the prototype of the Lightning Motorcycles. For now, both prototypes, but soon the Mission One will be produced in series.

We also saw the Honda EV Cub, electric motor scooters with two-wheel drive home the golden wing. Or the Smarty scooter, always with the electric drive, or hybrid Yamaha HV-X Sirius el’Aspes Hybrid, featuring a double engine, electric and conventional gasoline, allowing the pilot to choose whether to use one, the other ol ‘ union of the two.

At the booth G24 in Hall Two of the forthcoming International Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan (EICMA 2009), the Korean Hyosung will be on trying to Gem Gem 4.0 and 2.0. Along with the new custom GV700i Aquila, will present these two scooters with electric engine.

The Gem 4.0 will feature an electric motor capable of delivering a maximum power of 7.1 kW, weighs 170 pounds.

The batteries are lithium ion, provides a range of 120 km and takes two hours to recharge.

The Gem 2.0 instead will be smaller and characterized by an electric motor capable of delivering a maximum power of 3.6 kW, weighs 85 pounds.
