2011 Murray T.27 Electric

Gordon Murray T.27 presented the draft of the Electric, the new small car in collaboration with Zytek Automotive. This is the electric version of the brilliant designer T.25 South Africa and has been billed as the world’s most efficient electric car, with emission values in the whole “life” of 27% lower than any other electricity and 63% less than the average car. This value, therefore, includes the phases of construction and disposal.

Unfortunately, no technical data was issued, then it is difficult to really understand the innovations designed to T.27. What is certain is that this model follows the philosophy “i.Stream manufacturing approach”, with 3 seats side by side, lightweight, ease of installation and use of common components with other variants. An investment of £ 9 million, half of them from British government funds for research, will be allocated for the development of the car in the next 16 months.
