2011 Porsche Panamera Diesel and Hybrid Plug-In

During the summer of 2011 Porsche Panamera to debut the diesel version, already assumed in the past and each time denied by the leaders of the House of Zuffenhausen. The car should be equipped with the new 3.0 TDI V6 biturbo engine of 300 hp and 600 Nm of torque, to be placed under the hood of the Audi A6, A7 and A8 Sportback.

Also in 2011 the Porsche Panamera Hybrid will debut a hybrid which should also be characterized by the framework comprising 3.0 TSI engine from 333 hp V6 petrol engine coupled to the electric motor of 47 hp, for a total of 380 hp. In the future, the Panamera Hybrid should also be brought in Plug-In, whose development was confirmed by President Matthias Muller said he had driven the prototype in recent days.

In an interview with the magazine “Whatcha?” During the show in Los Angeles, the chairman of Porsche has also clarified other aspects of the future of the House of Zuffenhausen. As regards production, Muller did not contradict the hypothesis of the 4-cylinder engines for the new Boxster and Cayman, while the 911 is not new will be downsizing.
