The Dutch website Autoblog.nl published the first pictures of the new Audi A6 sedan segment and will be presented in world premiere at the Detroit Motor Show (10-23 January 2011). According to reports – the full press release will be published tomorrow – the new A6 is manufactured from a modular platform with MLB aluminum parts (20%) and weighs 50% less than the solution today, while the overall length increase of few inches to nearly five meters. The German sedan will have the 3.0 TDI diesel engines in the barycentric from 204, 245 and 300 hp 3.0 TFSI engine which will add the variant with an integrated power module. Available automatic transmissions and dual clutch DSG Tiptronic eight reports. The Audi A6 Variant will instead be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011.
