Stephan Winkelmann has confirmed to Autocar that colleagues Lamborghini is prepared to adopt a third model to be launched on the market in coming years, despite recent speculation, but the preference would be to the coupé Estoque sedan than sporty SUV, the spiritual heir of the LM002.

This decision would weigh the good reception given to the Estoque concept exhibited at the Paris Motor Show 2008. Winkelmann confirms that even today there are numerous requests to this model by loyal customers, who were literally “struck” by the prototype. There are many more opportunities in the segment of four doors. ” The primary intention, of course, is to bring new customers to the brand Lamborghini, a type of model that seems to be the favorite rich emerging markets such as China.

Remain open assumptions about the basic mechanics of the saloon, given the inevitable synergies of the galaxy Volkswagen: it now seems certain to use the new platform, however, MSB, which will lead to the Audi A9, the new Porsche Panamera and the future Bentley Continental.
