New Mercedes S-Class

In about three years, the Mercedes S-Class will give way to new generation, of which we show the first graphic reconstructions. The flagship of the Star will be longer and wider than the current, and a stylistic take on the concept design of the F700 and F800 Style. So, the next S-Class will have design elements in common with the new CLS, including the headlights with LED technology.

The range of the new Mercedes S-Class will consist of gasoline and diesel engines CGI CDI. In Europe and the U.S., however, will no longer be proposed versions of S 600 and S 65 AMG V12 because of stringent regulations on CO2 emissions. Continue to be available, however, in some markets such as China, India and the Middle East.

The eighth-generation S-Class hybrid will be offered in two versions: the Hybrid Plug-In S 500 and S 300 BlueTec Hybrid. The Mercedes S 500 Plug-In Hybrid will be equipped with the V6 petrol engine which, combined with the electric engine, will accelerate from 0 to 100 in under 6 seconds and will consume only 3.3 liters of fuel per 100 km .
