In early December, the Douai plant in France has produced the piece number 4000000 Renault Scénic. This is a major achievement, reached after about 14 years after the debut of the car. In fact, the Scénic was the first compact MPV of automotive history and was launched way back in 1996 as a variant of the Megane MPV. Among other things, the car has won the title of “Car of the Year”in 1997.
The second-generation Renault Scénic dates back to 2003, which was later joined by the long-wheelbase Grand Scenic. Currently in production is the third generation of the car that debuted on the market in 2009. The current proposal is Losanga compact MPV models Scénic Scénic and Xmod to 5 to 7 seats. The range of the Renault Scenic is assembled exclusively in the plant in Douai, which this year celebrated 40 years of activity.
