The convincing success in the early months of crop marketing has prompted General Motors CEO to reprogram the future of the Chevrolet Volt, which will be produced from 2012 to 120,000 units per year. This forecast, double the initial estimates (60,000 cars a year), will also apply to the current year when the enrollment will be 25,000, surpassing the “sole” 10,000 planned. The CEO Dan Akerson would in fact urging suppliers to increase production rates of their components without affecting the timing of delivery.
