Shelby Cobra 50th Anniversay presents a special series celebrating the 50 years since the debut of the first Cobra: the car is already regarded as a model year 2012, as shown at the center of the steering wheel. The occasion for the debut is the Barrett Jackson auction, during which Shelby has announced the creation of only 50 pieces with aluminum or metal body painted in Shelby Black with leather interior and wire wheels. The cars have chassis numbers from CSX8000, a treat for fans, and will offer the first look of the Cobra 289 with narrow wings. The cars, free of the mechanical part which will be chosen by the customer, will be sold at 69,995 dollars, rising to 134,995 dollars for the well in aluminum.
