Mercedes C 63 AMG facelift


During the Geneva Motor Show (3-13 March) Mercedes will show a preview of the new C 63 AMG, subject to an update faithful to the stylistic aesthetic already shown by the C-Class facelift and here anticipated by some low-resolution images. The sedan Affalterbach prepared to be recognized by the bumper and redesigned for the presence of LED daytime running lights positioned along the upper edge of air intake for the unusual shape of the headlights and the radiator grille cover-strip with single edge chrome. Also new are 18-inch alloy wheels, while the latter is different for LED headlamps and the new shape of the extractor.

Of the increase in efficiency (+10%) of the 6.3 V8 engine thanks to a new power steering pump and the ‘Controlled Efficiency for the seven-speed automatic transmission. These operations allow you to file the consumption (12 l / km, -0.3), although the numbers remain unchanged: 457 hp, 600 Nm, 4.5 seconds in the 0-100 km / h for a maximum speed of 250 km / h. Acceleration 0-100 km / h decreases by 0.2 seconds when the C 63 AMG is equipped with the ‘AMG Performance Package, which increases the cavalry up to 487 units and provides the brake calipers painted red, various inserts carbon fiber and the AMG sports steering wheel with nappa leather and Alcantara.
