The small luxury Aston Martin Cygnet will be on sale with prices starting at 30,995 pounds (35,970 euros). Not bad, considering that the car on which it is based, the tiny Toyota iQ, has a value much lower: 9,995 pounds (11,600 euros). The most compact cars home Aston Martin will go into production later this year. The choice to produce such a car is born from the need to reduce the overall impact of brand cars in terms of CO2 emissions, without affecting the specifications of sports cars.
Little Aston will be powered by a 1.3 four-cylinder in-line with an output of 100 hp. The car emissions are so just 110 grams per kilometer and fuel consumption will be reduced to 3.9 liters per 100 km. Enough to lower the overall level of the full range of the manufacturer.

Cygnet will be offered initially only in the United Kingdom, but his arrival is expected in the rest of Europe. It will not be a limited edition, but it is likely that the owners of Aston Martin will have a priority channel in order.
